My name is Manuel Hernandez, I was born in Long Beach California, but my parents raised me in a town in Zacatecas, México. I am 32 years old, my job is to Groom horses. I started working with horses at the age of 13 taking care of mares and baby horses in Zacatecas. At 17 years old I migrated to California and started taking care of horses again. At the age of 20 I began gaining experience with jumping and racing horses between the places of Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas and Del Mar. To date, you can say that I have been taking care of horses in the USA for 12 years, I have been with different teams, stables and in different shows such as in Canada, Mexico, Argentina and the USA. For now, I find myself with a great team Rigdon & Blake, located at Ad Astras, learning day by day with Dressage horses.

Hello, my name is José Calixto. I’m from Mexico, and like many of my countrymen I came to this country 🇺🇸 to give a better life to my family. I have two years here in the United States and since I arrived, I have only had two jobs counting the current one. I decided to work with horses because I like and I am passionate about working with them and taking care of them
I consider myself a very respectful person, and above all very very punctual in each of my jobs. Maybe I don’t have much experience because of the little time I’ve been working with them, but I try to do my best. Day by day and try to improve with time. I’m here because I like it a lot and because I’m passionate about working with horses 🐎.
I always try to have a good relationship with my co-workers, and above all to be very professional in the work area. I try to focus on each of the horses, and try to always find them in the best possible way.
